What this site collects
This static MVP does not include customer accounts, booking checkout, a newsletter signup or a site-hosted contact form. If you email us, your message is processed by your email provider and the recipient’s email service. Server/CDN logs may be processed by the hosting provider for operations and security.
External data requests and websites
When you open the River Conditions page, your browser requests current observations directly from the USGS Water Data API. When you open the Fish Counts page, it requests a 2026 historical dataset from Alaska Fish Counts' public CDN. If you choose to load the interactive fishing-spots map, OpenStreetMap tile requests begin. These third parties may receive your IP address and standard browser request information. Links to ADF&G, map search and guide websites open independent services with their own privacy practices. We include source-identifying parameters on outbound guide referrals.
Analytics and cookies
Analytics scripts are not configured in this initial MVP. If GA4 or similar services are enabled later, this policy must be updated to identify the provider, relevant data processing, cookies and applicable user choices before activation.
